WIP Update
Hey, folks. I am in the thick of writing book three, Hallowed Elements. I typically write pretty quickly once I really get going, but I’ve been discovering that by the time you get to book three there are quite a few threads that need to be woven into the tapestry. I absolutely hate it when authors bring something up that seems like it will be significant later in the book and then…nothing. It just kind of fizzles out and goes nowhere. So, I am bound and determined to tie everything up in a neat little bow by the end of this trilogy. Or, well, I can at least promise that there will not be any major cliffhangers. There will be an HEA, BUT, there will also be a second trilogy set in the same world involving the next generation of the Aos Sí. Remember the last line of the prophecy? Embrace them, and a páistí (their children) will bring forth a Domhan Nua (a new world).
Anywho, I’m a little over a third of the way done, based on my rough outline. Which means that I am distracted when I do anything other than work on book three. I’m trying to compartmentalize, but I’ll admit it does kind of take over my life while I’m in the middle of it.
What can you expect from book three? An epic quest for Áine and Lir (they both get drunk at various points, and someone might find it necessary to try on all of the gods’ torques), The Fianna have to pull together a cohesive battle plan in a relatively short amount of time, there is plenty of hot and kinky smexy time, and we are not done visiting the Fomori stronghold.
Oh, and dragons. Get ready to meet the gods.
