Killing Characters

People are starting to die, and I really don’t like it. I know it’s necessary. I know it’s not realistic to have a battle against honest-to-goodness monsters and not have any casualties. That doesn’t mean I have to like it. These are my book babies and destroying them feels wrong, even to advance the plot.

That being said, I am having a helluva lot of fun with these dragon shifters. Especially Lasair (LOSS-ir). Think of Áine (AHN-yuh), but dragon-sized. The snark is real people, the snark is real.

Okay, back to work killing people.
